Enclose open rack sides for improved airflow containment, physical security, and a clean data center appearance with the Knurr OEM Side Panel Pair, manufactured by Extron. Stamped from 1.5 mm zinc-passivated cold-rolled steel and powder-coated in RAL 7021 dark-grey to match Knurr DCM and MIR2 enclosure finishes precisely, these panels integrate seamlessly with the Knurr rack system without the color mismatch or fitment issues common with aftermarket alternatives.

OEM Fit — No Drilling Required

Pre-punched mounting holes align with Knurr rack vertical aluminum extrusion channels for snap-fit or screwed installation without additional drilling or modification. Each pair covers a specified nominal rack height (42U or 47U) and width (600 or 800 mm) and includes all mounting screws — everything needed for a complete installation is in the box.

Airflow Containment & Security

Enclosing open rack sides forces cooling air through the front-to-rear airflow path rather than bypassing through the sides, improving hot/cold aisle containment efficiency. The panels also provide IP 20 side-wall ingress protection per IEC 60529, preventing accidental contact with live equipment from the sides of the rack in open-floor colocation environments.

Standards Compliant

The panels have been earthing-tested per DIN EN 60950, ensuring the steel panel maintains electrical continuity with the rack frame for equipotential bonding compliance in data center and industrial installations.
