The Knurr 2-Post Open Frame Relay Rack — 25U, manufactured by Extron, provides a compact, space-efficient mounting solution for telecommunications patch panels, cable organizers, and lightweight switching equipment in wiring closets, IDF rooms, and small server rooms. Where floor space is at a premium and enclosed cabinetry is unnecessary, the Knurr 2-post relay rack delivers reliable, standards-compliant equipment mounting at an accessible price point.

Rigid Welded Steel Construction

Constructed from 14-gauge cold-rolled steel with welded base and top spreader bars, the relay rack delivers rigid vertical stability across its full 25U (1,118 mm usable) height. The welded construction eliminates the flex and racking common in bolted relay rack designs, ensuring consistent 19" rail alignment across all mounting positions.

Ready for Immediate Deployment

Rated for a static load of 2,300 N (≈ 234 kg), the rack ships floor-standing with leveling feet and M5 rack-nut mounting rails pre-installed. The RAL 7035 light-grey powder-coat finish is compatible with standard structured-cabling color conventions and blends cleanly into wiring closet environments. All mounting positions are compatible with standard 19" EIA-310-D / IEC 60297-2 components.
